: Just wondering if polyurethane glue (like gorilla glue) would work as well as

I'm currently building a S&G Guillemot. I tried various ways of scarfing the joints. I am most disappointed in the poly glued joints. The poly glue expands as a foam if not clamped. I was using a 50# bag of sand in the middle of the scarf for clamping pressure. This worked well with epoxy, but the poly joints "puffed" up. Maybe more clamp pressure would help?

Sorry Old Boater.
