I haven't built one, nor have I heard of many, if any, people who have. They basically offer 2 sizes: Medium (Sea Wolf), and Large (Sea Lion), plus a tandem. If I were you I'd look around and find the design you really like best. You'll save on shipping if you go with Roy Folland, but as far as building support goes, you get good support over the phone from Pygmy and CLC as well. Plus you have us!

If you want, you could tell us about your level of paddling skills, places and conditions you paddle in (or plan to), whether you want straight-line tracking or quick maneuvering, etc., and you'll get plenty of advice on what kind of kit to build. Keep in mind that this will only be the first of many kayaks you will build, anyway...
