I looked for a picture of the sliding brace/pump and the only one I have is on paper. I'll see if I can scan it sometime in the next few days. If you fiddle with some cardboard models, you can come up with the same solution. Envision just the wings of the Schade rest and place the pump forward of the wings, facing aft. Make a cut-out in the middle upper edge of the wings for the pump actuator to protrude through. Replace the single center support with two supports placed wide enough apart to fit the pump between, and cap off the forward edge of the two supports with a surface to bolt the pump to. I have that surface at the same angle of tilt as the profile of the wings. The pump is mounted with the intake and exhaust horizontal. Flexible hose allows the brace to slide along the full length of the track.
