Hi Andy,

There are some dissenting views on the need for an end pour, but if you're going to do it - the outside temp shouldn't be a concern. The mass of the curing epoxy will generate plenty of heat on it's own. In fact, some folks advocate immersing the ends in cold water (wrapped in plastic) to prevent any problems associated with excessive heat buildup. But if you're using MAS slow cure, this shouldn't be a concern.
