Gee, and this is the start of a new season, too! All those lavish premieres.

Groucho Marx once commented on TV. He said: "I find television to be very educational. Whenever someone turns on the TV, I go in the other room and read a book"

What you are experiencing is the joy of using your brain. As your brain gets into gear your body releases chemicals called neurotransmitters. Some are responsible for in some way moving data from one part of your head to another. Others, which are released at the same time, cause you to feel stimulated, or relaxed, or both at the same time! You get a natural high without the need for drugs, like those in beer and coffee. It is healthier as there are no materials that your liver and kidneys need to remove from your system, but it really can become an addictive behavior. We joke about that, but there is a large kernel of truth underlying the humor. Fortunately it takes so long to finish a boat that it is rather easy to avoid the usual downsides of an addiction. But, if you are actually losing sleep over this you should really consider cutting back on the coffee or other stimulants in your life. You don't need them. The boat building alone should be enough of a stimulant.
