There is an awfull lot of epoxy paints sprayed every day. Laminating resins need a spray thinner to work, acetone works but it slows down curing and can lead to porousness if too much is used or temperature isn't high enough. Protective gear must be used if you are not eager to cath epoxy allergy, amine hardeners are not very healthy breathing either. In most cases it is not worth the effort.
