In Response To: Skin Boat School info? (Mark Woodhead)

I talked with Corey at the Wooden Boat Show in Port Townsend and they are more open enrollment then structured with having specific class start dates. He encouraged me to 'give him a call to make sure they were there and were going to be there' before showing up and that seemed to be about as committed as he wanted to get. They have people coming and going all the time and some people take years to complete their boats.

He is teaching a class at the Center for Wooden Boats in Seattle this week and there is another one scheduled for October (all full with a waiting list).

: Has anyone built a boat through the classes offered by the Skin Boat School,
: out of Annacortes, WA? I was checking out their website
: (www.skinboat.org), but couldn't find out class dates or times or
: locations. I just sent them a letter via snail mail, since I could get a
: response by eMail. Does anyone have any info on them at all?

: Let me know,
: Mark "gotten the skin boat fever" Woodhead
