It will cool down one of these days, but it's NEVER too hot for kayaking. I was out with the Outlaw Sunday afternoon - you just roll when you need to cool off (or swim when you blow the roll :( )

The boat hasn't made much progress the past week - I'm doing a presentation on kayak packing at the paddling club tonight and head for Moab Friday evening for a week on the Green. Trying to keep up with Shawn's "paddling days" count, but he's still got me beat by 8-10.

Based on traffic on this board, there are at least two other people working on kayaks in the Phoenix area right now, and I know of one Return that was built in Tucson last winter.
