In Response To: Speaking of Canoes ??? (Rehd)

Hi Rehd,

I'm also a long time canoer and 20' is real big. If the sons are the same size as Dad and/or if they plan on doing expedition length trips maybe, otherwise I think that length is overkill. A canoe that size has it's place but it's hard to load , hard to carry, and hard to paddle alone if the occasion arises. Being hard to load and carry make it a pain in the butt, and make a quick afternoon paddle less likly to happen.
Pygmy has a s&g canoe, Taiga (same name as my dog) that has nice lines, at 17' it would most likely suit their needs.

I seem to have forgotten how to post pics, so till I figure it out again just right click on the image symbol and then click view image.

Good luck with the sales pitch.

Ken
