: I need to say that I am no hero.

You are a hero in my book. You can go places and offer rescue in situations that I can't even imagine. When you told a small group of us at the Newfound Rendezvous about your underground search through the WTC rubble I couldn't believe you crawled into that black smoking rubble and returned to talk about it.

I think we're all grateful for your skills to get in there and actaully be able to do something to help.

I'm glad I had the chance to shake your hand Russ.

: For me personally, I came out of the horror of Manhattan to the goodness and
: rightness of the people who build things rather then destroy. I saw what
: good hands with good tools can do. I came out of a situation of
: devastating images to the etched in granite values of the town of Bristol,
: NH. Thank you.

It was great being in Bristol last weekend. I thought it was the best Newfound Rendezvous because the town and people of Bristol were part of our event as they served us food at the beach and dinners at the town Community Center.

I'm glad I had the chance to get to know you just a little Russ.

All the best,
Rob
