FWIW, Bill Low recommends Zar Exterior Satin Urethane as a sealer, followed by Gaco UA-7000 as an abrasion resistant top coat. He uses this over 13 ounce polyester from Dyson and his boats are incrediby durable. That's what I'll be using on my current SOF project. Frankly, I'd be rather nervous about using 3.7 ounce poly, unless you always have soft sand beaches for launches and landings.
