: Does anyone in California have a good source of quality western red cedar and
: alaska yellow cedar in 16ft+ lengths S3S
: I would also appreciate sources in the Pacific Northwest.
: I'm having trouble fing anything better than a fence board and living on the
: Central coast of California I would prefer to buy as local as possible.

: Thank you,

: Margaritaville, Ca.

Truitt and White in Berkeley carry wrc up to 20 feet, s3s. Good color, mostly clear. 1-by and 2-by sizes available. 1 by 4s are $1.29 a running foot, I believe. That's competitive. Wrc is a direct competitor to redwood in California, according to Dan White, owner, hence it's relatively hard to find. They carry it because people use it for house trim.
Good luck.
