Well, I was trying to decide which boat to start, since I had the strongback and stations built for the Shooting Star AND the spine and stations built for Vaclav's Cape Ann Storm.
Aside from the fact that the SS is probably a bit small for me, this thread and the Georgian Bay thread have left a sour taste in my mouth. Meanwhile, Vaclav and his Storm plans have been a delight.
So, I spent my time yesterday evening putting the Storm stations on the spine. With a station set every 12", the rocker was dead on without the stations being anchored to support blocks. Now those are well designed plans!
The SS stations and plans are on the shelf, at least for awhile. I think my next boat after the Storm will be a SOF baidarka.
