System 3 gives you 72 hours to recoat, then you need to sand. Check yr manufacturers instructions.

FWIW, I would consider using roving or glass strands for fillet, which should be nearly invisible. You could probably cut some very narrow bias strips and pull them lengthwise. This you could do immediately before putting glass on. Maybe others have some experience with this. I just know I used wood dust and a little cabosil to try to match deck color and it's visible.
