Dean, on the coho and golden eye I made it was possible to take most of the peak out by building up a ramp on either side of the spacer joint before gluing the coaming on. I wonder how the cunningham/sea kayaker compares for that description of a low volume long skinny tern. My banana boat is 18'x21" with a fair amount of flare and rocker so it's actually medium/high volume boat, but the waterline is pretty narrow, still not perfect, pivot point is a little forward (I think the entry is still too pinched/narrow)
