In Response To: Mixing epoxy, weight vs. volume (Al Gunther)

There is an easier way. I have the first 12 inches of a wooden yardstick. It is easy to read and is marked off in 1/8-inch increments. I rest one end on the flare of the bottle and then "lean" it against the pump. Then you just measure out, for example, a 1-inch stroke of resin and 1/2-inch of hardner. Any burps occur at the start of the stroke and you just keep track of where you are on the yardstick when goo starts to come out.
