I noticed right away that it slices through the water really easily. It had almost no bow wave. I took so little effort to paddle it up to speed. I was very impressed.

What was even more impressive is Joe's work on the boat. It is beautiful and pictures probably won't do it justice. Just when some of the kayaks were approaching the quality of Joe's work he went and raised the bar so high that I can't even see the bar anymore.
