Without trying to endorse a product, I have used stuff called 'SOLAREZ' that is epoxy in a tube with chopped fibreglass strands - for many a quick fix. The catalyst is UV light. So for fixing up dings in my surfboard and kayaks it is just a matter of putting the kayak/surfboard in the shade; blobbing 'Solarez' into the dings (little scratches, pits, tears). Then I cart the beast into the sun and 5 minutes later the resin is hard and ready for action.

I think 'Solarez' is made in California (I buy it from a surf shop in New Zealand), but I have no idea where you might be able to get some of this handy stuff.

Good luck Pete
