: Bryan what kind of kayak do you have? Would be neat to have a get together. I

: town.

I don't have a kayak yet, my total fleet consists of a lonely fiberglass canoe. Currently I use the kayaks of the Saskatoon Canoe Club which has 3 plastic kayaks, a Sea Lion, Squall & a Storm. All are too heavy for my wife to carry very far. This winter if all goes well some friends & I will be trying our hands at boat building, hopefully producing 2 kayaks by spring. I want to build a boat that will fit my wife well, & be light enough for her to carry. Besides, I promised her one as an engagement "ring" nearly 4 years ago (we've been married for 3 & she still hasn't received it).
