Here is an old response Roger Nuffer thoughtfully posted about sources of canvas:

I used #10 Cotton Duck: 60" wide, 11 yds: price per yard $4.68 from PEARL. There is a discount at 11 yards.
My next boat that I'm currently working on will be covered in a synthetic. Every time I go over a rock or log that rubs against the bottom of the boat I freak out. I'm looking for the security provided with a synthetic skin.
