Ross,
I bought a similar vetran for a buck a hole. Total cost was 12 dollars. 20 plus years later I still have her. I use her as my surf boat, and I beat the slop out of her. Every year I put on the new patches and stow her for the next years surfing.

Suggestions: First get some bondo auto body putty Clean out he really rough holes and cracks and fill and skin it as needed. Then take #6 and patch over that using bias cuts at 45 degrees of set from each other two or 3 layers will ususally do it. I always patch inside too where I can reach. I put one big scratch pad on the bottom of 2 layers of #6 F/G. Do an end pour in the boat as the bpw and sterns are ussually pretty punky.

Good luck and patt htat old war horse for me.

With these kinds of boat my mantra is: The older, the uglier, the more scars, the better!
