: I am wondering about wet sanding. Rob Macks (I think) says that he sands with
: 80 grit and then sands to 120 grit using water and a ros. why wet sand and
: how do I keep my sander from ingesting the wet stuff it will creat? Am I
: on track with this?

I'm not the guy to blame for this. I don't use wet sanding with a ROS. Waste of time.

The reason to wet sand, by hand usimg 220, is that fine grades of sandpaper can clog up quickly if used dry, Using 220 wet/dry papaer and water works well, because the water lubricates and more inportantly keeps the grit clear of debris.
