My mosquito boat

My double guillemot is what I call the "Mosquito boat", because a few landed in the epoxy while it cured. I just put more epoxy over them, forever enshrining them.

I like it though, because it ties into a little history of the Puget Sound. In the 1800s through the early part of the century, fleets of ferries sailed all over the Puget Sound as an early transportation network. These boats were known as the Mosquito fleet. Now, a mosquito boat carries on the tradition...
