The first time I did plywood, I used saran wrap which got pulled into the joint. On the re-do, I used clear packing tape stuck the the backing board, into which I stapled the scarf together. It works well, stays put, releases easy enough, and doesnt get pulled into the joint.

: I'm going to be scarfing a couple of pieces of 4'x 8' 1/8" plywood this
: week. Last time I scarfed I used wax paper on the floor under my boards.
: It worked fine. Is there a better material to use to keep from epoxing my
: boards to the floor and pressure boards?

: Thanks,

: Foster
