Is it okay to sell boats designed by someone else? A couple guys were admiring my kayak and one of them told me his brother just went out and bought a table saw and router and was going to make one for himself and a few more to sell. I didn't really know what to say. I know I will be forced to sell one of my boats someday in order to make another (damn addiction) but I don't think I would ever start some ones design with the intention of selling it. I understand richard's point that building will appeal to the non-paddler and bulding itself is reward enough.
