: 4 feet longer -- that only gives you 16';but you are building a 17' boat. Of
: course, you can angle that, but with not much room to move arround the
: boat and all the storage and power cords..etc. What is the point of
: building outside?

Actually, the boat is so light that you can leave it in line with the building, or move it around a bit, and make those changes several times during a day. With the boat at an angle, you have 6 feet to back up from it on one side, so that you can admire it better. :)

The reason to work outside is to prevent the accumulation of dust and fumes in the house. Also, drips of epoxy resin can destroy good carpeting.

After the boat is built, a quick wash of the yard, either with a garden hose, or a rain shower, traps all your debris in the soil, and keeps it out of your lungs.
