Maybe you guys are using these already, but I haven't seen one yet. The block was cut to rough shape with a bandsaw. Then PSA 80-grit production paper was placed around the shaft, and the block was sanded against it to fine-tune the profile. One side is the flat side of the oval, and the other is the edge, both cut not quite full depth. Then more PSA paper was fastened in the grooves, and voila! 15 minutes making the tool saved large multiples in both time and aggravation, at practically no cost.
