There are no screw-ups in wood strip building, only opportunities
I had the same thoughts/daunts as you have when I started the deck of my Great Auk, with rounded forms. I looked at it for a few days, then went ahead and started stripping. It works out easier than it looks. I think that I may end up with a small crack at the bow that will have to be filled. The deck sheer strip will fit flat at the bow and stern and fit close. There will be a small area at about station 3 or 4 that you will have to work with to get the angle right. Get as close as you can, just remember that is easy to fill up cracks in wood strip boats. Nobody will know if you don't tell them. I am using cypress and it is not the easiest wood to get to bend.
