I tried all sorts of wood putty combos. Every one of them either woyuldnt fill well or when I sanded they crumbled. Most of them upon research tell you that they will not stand up to sanding by ros, etc. I went back to dooky schmutz. I figure when it's all said and done the extra expense isn't really alot and it's done well alsoo helps to glue the joint together which thinned out putty can't do.
