Hey Scott - I got you hooked, didn't I!

I found this whitewater club website: http://www.adobeww.org/ You might contact them and see if they know of any sea kayakers in the area. They should be able to point you to some beginners kayaking courses, too. Like we talked about, it's probably not a popular sport there due to lack of agua. But, there's bound to be a few people somewhere.
