Konstantin,

Once you settle on a lay-up and are ready to go, I hope you plan to do some test panels to determine how much vacuum to pull and when to pull it. The Gougeon Brothers (West System) have a nice introduction to bagging that has some of the most specific practical advice that I have seen. You can order it from their web site for a few dollars.

If you are near the San Francisco Bay area and are still looking for a vacuum pump, I have one you could borrow – if you promise to return it NOT filled with epoxy!
