A friend and I are building a Guillemot based on Nick's book. We are unclear about the combing dimensions. By looking at the pictures and reading we estimate:

Lip width 1"
Lip thickness 5/8"
Height from the deck to the bottom of the lip 3/8"

We want to keep the lip low for strength, while being easy to get the spray skirt on.

Any hints or clarifications greatly appreciated.
