Ditto everything everyone else is saying. IIf your going to Newfound its a tight package already but it will sag. There good at getting things o nthe roof and well protected. 2X4s or ladders work but pad the strps on the racks and and your tie down points with cardboard. Use strapping tape or duct tape. If its a long haul or a rainy one I like ABS pie. The added advantage is you can use them to store the strips dry out doors under deck in garge etc.
