In Response To: transporting 20 foot strips (Brad Crowell)

I drove about 80 miles from Newfound with strips tightly bundled and wrapped in plastic wrap.....the Newfound folks did the wrapping befor I got there.

You could bind this bundle to your strongback and load on roof. I was going to buy a long 2x4 at the lumber yard across the street. I found the wrapped strips plenty stiff enough for the journey and just attached the bundle to the racks.....sans stiffening lumber.

: I am in the process of getting materials together to build a boat. I need to
: bring 20 foot strips home. What is the best way to put them on my car
: rack?
