I don't recommend trying a horizontal pour.
Turn the boat upside down and lift one end to the ceiling. Do a small pour(1/2-2/3 your standard amount). Once that has set turn your boat topside up and do another pour (1/2 your standard amount). Repeat with other side of boat. This will put a plug in the end of your boat allong with some buildup inside the keel.
