: I am about done with the hull of my Mediocre Auk. I made the mistake of

I think it matters most if you are using the internal or external strongback.

If you are using the internal, just flip the boat over into a couple of slings or pads on your sawhorses or whatever and keep going onto the deck. (what I did)

If you are using an external strongback it may be best if you glass now and pull the hull off before starting the deck. If you do this make sure to brace the inside of the hull with a couple of sticks the width of your forms to keep it from bowing in while its stored.

Basically either way works but I prefered not to have a half glassed hull around for 2 months while I finished the deck. I'm sure there are pro's and con's to both. And if you wait a little while, I'm sure you'll hear them.
