I found that my RAKA pumps "burped", especially the resin pump because the viscosity of the resin is lower than the hardener, so I didn't trust them and pumped into measuring cups to make sure I got the ratio right.

That being said, I did mis-mix one batch that I coated a couple paddles with and ended up with epoxy that was tacky a day or 2 later. I took the advice of people on this board and put my paddles in a make-shift oven -- a cardboard box with a couple 100-watt work lights inside. In a day or 2 they were nice and hard. If you say yours is rubbery, you're already better off than my tacky paddles were, so I'm sure yours will be fine if you heat it up for a while...
