Hi,

I am thinking about using the Mariner style mounting system for my front chart deck rigging where you just drill a hole through your deck, and run the shock cord through it. Tie a knot on the other side and you're done.

Does anyone have an idea on a good size hole to use to get as water tight a seal as possible with 3/16" shock cord?
