cutting mincell

Anybody have a good way to cut large slices of minicell - for example when cutting a wedge out of the bottom of a seat meant for a hardchine boat like the Chessapeake.

I always just go the brute force approach using a 10" knife and then lots of work with cleaning it up using technique of choice (for me its a 16 grit resin backed sanding disk).

What I want is a 16 inch serated knife or something like that to make this task easier so I can pass the blade cleanly thru the side of the block and the center of the block where the cut ends with some extra blade length for travel.
