I was looking though some pictures we just recently developed from last summer kayaking trip to the lake behind our camp and thought I'd share this pic. I took up kayaking last year and started videoing and taking pictures of the resident pair of loons. They eventually seemed to get used to me and let me get fairly close for some good shots. Here the parents were teaching the young the art of fishing. If the young one didn't get the live fish presented the parent would dive and retreive it again. The scanned image doesn't do the picture real justice. I guess this is why I enjoy kayaking alot. On the building side, the deck and hull became one this week and I'm now starting the cockpit. Got to finish so I can get back to the water soon.
