I wish to add outriggers + sail to a small sit on top (2.85m)kayak.If possible i wish to have the outridders and mast all mounted fron a common point at the front so the outriggers would extend from the bow 2/3 of the way to the stern so that i am free to row as normal. I want the pontoons to incorperate small centreboards and twin rudders at the rear of the pontoons so that the complete unit is attached at one point slightly in front of my feet.
Does it affect performance having the pontoons at the fron and the rudders more forward than a central rudder at the rear. We will be using a small windsurf sail and speed is not paramount
