Last epoxy coat and first varnish coat advise

I am hoping to move on to varnising my osprey triple, but there are some epoxy "contours" that I can see when the light reflects just right. These are not drips, but places where the epoxy "front" stoped. I would like to move on to varnishing but I am not sure if I need to sand these area some more or the varnish will hide these epoxy contours.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
