Seal coat blemish

I took the plunge over the weekend and put a seal coat and the first layer of fiberglass on my hull. It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be and so for the results look ok....none of the bubbles I had on my test panels.
What I did get though was a blemish. I sanded the seal coat before glassing and in a few of the areas where the resin was too thick it turned white when sanded. I figured that would go away when I put glass and fresh epoxy over it but I was wrong. It doesn't look too bad but I'd like to avoid it happening again. I wiped down the hull with a damp towel after sanding...what else should I do?
Thanks
