: Food decorating bags. Probably the wrong name but the idea is right.

Bingo!! George :) You probably remember that from when you were younger and used to sneak into the cabinet and squeeze the icing out of the tubes into your mouth and then put them back. :)

: The idea is a combination of the caulking gun and the plastic bag.

The picture below shows one of the Wilton Docorating Bags made of plastic, and probably reusable in this fashion. I don't think the epoxy will stick to it, but, you could just roll the bag until all of it was out. You could use a tip, and coupler, but would be just as successful cutting the tip off about 1/4" and just laying a bead down and spreading it with a soft piece of plastic. Like the Auto-body bondo knives, only cut it to about 1" wide. If you used a tip, it would be around a #59 or there abouts. They are a little curved smiley shaped tip.

: Take a piece of rigid plastic tubing, heat, flatten and shape one end so that
: it will lay a proper fillet. Put the other end in a plastic bag corner,
: rubberband the joint. Fill the bag, roll the top down, and squeese.
: (Cookbooks have better directions.)

Me too, but, who's counting. :)

: If you want, use a rosebud tip

I believe a Rosebud is for an oxy/acetaline welder, cutting tip. But again, George probably doesn't bake many cakes. You would use the # 104 pedal tip and a Rose nail for that. :)

and add flowers.

: Be sure to let the epoxy partly cure before you start. epoxy heats up and
: thins out as it cures enough to thicken. Fillets are easier to do if you
: let the epoxy get pto that final stage. I think it takes about 15 minutes
: using MAS epoxy with slow hardener.

On a more serious note, would you add any Micro-balloons into that mix to thicken it and also make it easier to sand? Would that decrease it's bonding strength?

Love to see your flowers when you are done? Hey, I'm from Calif..... Nuff said?
