Keep in mind the difference between "irritating" and "harmful." Obviously, there is is some component which is a respiratory irritant. Pollen, perfume, and yeast in beer and bread (horrors) all cause the same reaction in some people. That doesn't mean they are deadly or even harmful.

The MSDS is a government-mandated info sheet that must be included to satisfy OSHA regulations when a substance is used by an employee. The MSDS usually radically overstates the treatment recommended for the vatious methods of injuring yourself with a substande. Unfortunately, the MSDS is standardized. This means that it uses the same format for treatment of exposure to hydrochloric acid that it does to Lysol. The MSDS is usually sent to a specific safty person at a business that knows how to interpret it intelligently.

The bit about taking someone to fresh air and providing oxygen is STANDARD to the format, not the substance in question. If you read the MSDS of almost all substances covered by MSDS regulations you would see the same thing. None of the chemicals in any of the epoxy systems are new to the world. The side effects of inhaling, drinking, and touching them are will known. If it is not specifically stated as a problem, it isn't a problem! All man-made chemicals are not necessarily toxic. Maybe we should look for a "natural," herbal alternative.

You moron.
