I'm stumped. In the picture you see the first wide cedar strip glued to the thin pine strip just this side of the center of the deck and the tapered front is glued to the inside of the thin pine deck shear strip. Now you see the thin cedar strip on the right side of the picture just setting on top of the thin pine deck shear strip. How do I get that strip to twist down and glued to the inside of that pine shear strip at the front? Is it a kind of a rolling bevel or have I really screwed up somehow? I hate to start removing wood without some kind of understanding. Thank you.
