1000 Miles in S & G

Heather and I just finished our Canada to Cabo expedition, which involved 3500 miles of mountain biking and a thousand mile paddle from San Felipe to Cabo San Lucas. We used the Chesapeake 18 and the Arctic Tern, and let me tell you they did AWESOME! The paddle took 72 days through some of the most unstable weather the Sea of Cortez has seen in quite a while. We really put the boats to the test with loading, dragging, rock landings and launchings, the works. Other than adding a bit of cloth to the hulls around mile 500, we didn't have a single problem. We couldn't be more pleased!
