Here's another clamp trick. It's important to clamp the strips between the forms so you don't get gaps when planing and fairing. Nylon cableties are just the ticket, and the "Tie Gun" in the pic allows quick one-hand tensioning. The stationery clips here protect the edge of the strip from localized crushing forces. On the withers of the boat here, it doesn't take much force to properly seat the strips.
