: No, not a rough day Lee.

: A lot of people in the past have gotten hurt cutting wood. Here is fellow who
: did not learn from the experience of the thousands who got hurt before (he
: got hurt) but expects that his experience will help others.

I think probably everyone has been injured using tools at some time (except you of course :) ) and it will be almost impossible to prevent accidents from happening.
Stories of people hurting themselves make you stop and think about the way you do things and may prevent the same thing happening to you (or maybe not).

: Why don't most people don't learn until they hurt themselves? Is it really
: that hard to believe that a blade that cuts wood and aluminum will cut
: flesh and bone?

It's just the way people are. Some people don't even learn after they hurt themselves.
Don't expect people to be perfect and all knowing (present company excepted :) ) and you won't be disappointed.
