Steching a Great Auk to 19 feet from Nick's book..

Last summer I purchased The Strip Built Sea Kayak and enjoyed building the single Guillemot from the book. I built her in about 130 hours, and am very pleased at how well this kayak handles in rough water, thanks Nick for deseiging such a beautiful kayak.
I am very anxious to start another boat and am thinking about building the
Great Auk and extending this design out to 19 feet. But I am not sure if this is recommended,as in the book it only talks about shortning
this kayak.
I am looking for my second kayak to be a better expediton boat with more
storage space than my Guillemot. I am also hoping for a higher hull speed.
I am not sure maybe I should just build the Razor Billed Auk?
Would a 19 foot Great Auk be as fast as the Razor Billed Auk?
If anyone can help with this question I would be grateful. Once again thanks!
